This weekend I read Hotel World by Ali Smith. Really extraordinary writing! She really gets into her character’s heads. I love the way she writes. The book really came alive for me. I look forward to reading more from her.
I'm trying to keep my head above water and find the time to flex my art degree. My heart is still with photography and film and painting. I have always been fascinated with abstract imagery. When I was a little girl in elementary school I was obsessed with modern art and architecture. I spent hours designing plans for modern houses and signed my plans with my Architect moniker Marsha Mod. I got my first camera at age 9 and began doing serious photography at 13.
